The Blue Lion at Witherley is a traditional English inn with a twist.
Dating back to the late18th century, firstly as a farmhouse, then latterly a bed and breakfast and restaurant, the Blue Lion has undergone a tasteful transformation designed to provide the highest levels of stylish comfort yet retain and enhance key features of the historic building.

The Blue Lion’s experienced team are on hand to serve a wide choice of hand-pulled real ales, wines from a carefully selected list and meals all freshly prepared on the premises using quality local produce wherever available.
The Grade II listed inn stands within a Conservation Area close by historic St Peter’s parish church and serves the local community in the charming village of Witherley. It also welcomes guests from further afield, many drawn by local attractions including historic Bosworth, Drayton Manor, Twycross Zoo and Mallory Park race circuit.
